In the Summer of 2017, I had the opportunity to attend the flagship British Studies Program founded by Southern Miss. The program offers about ten different courses that students can take for academic course credit. I took the International Business course where I had the opportunity to learn from essential businesses, business leaders, government officials, and through field excursions to various locations in and around London. The program taught me how important culture is to business and the impact different policies and regulations can have on international business. Some of the places I was able to visit was Fitch Financial, Lloyd's of London, the British parliament, Jaguar, Rooster Punk, Winterdale, Museum of Brands, and World of Wedgewood. London became my classroom for one month as I experience first-hand British business and conduct research with my professor on different trends between the United Kingdom and America.
